A fabulous reception is the most awaited part of any wedding ceremony. Guests eagerly look forward to the mouthwatering dishes and unlimited drinks. Dancing and music make the event even more fun. Here you will find some recent trends in decoration for a beautiful wedding reception.
1.    Use drapes for ceilings- you can give the ceilings an impeccable look by draping them with the fabric of your choice. If you are having a traditional setting, you can opt for white or ivory otherwise you can also experiment with multicolored drapes. Your venue managers will also not object to such enhancements as they can be easily taken off after the reception.
2.    Candles- as candles are fairly cheaper; you can use hundreds of them to sparkle the evening.  Candle-lit chandeliers will also go in-hand with this décor.
3.    Feathers- in addition to flowers you can decorate the walls and table with feather wreaths. It is a recent trend in wedding embellishments.
4.    Fountain- adding a fountain however small at the entrance of the hall will give a sense of grandeur to the event.  Your guests will be awed by such a marvelous setting.
5.    Engagement photos- create a collage of your favorite engagement pictures. Many of your guests might not have joined you at that time and so they would love to see the pictures.
6.    Escort card display board- you can replace the card table with a decorative escort bulletin at the reception entrance. This will also make it easier for your guests to find their tables.
7.    Hanging lamps and flowers- in addition of putting flowers on the tables you can hang them from the ceiling in artistic arrangements. You can also use colorful lamps in place of flowers to accentuate the décor.
