Maid of honor is supposed to be the right hand of bride.  She is responsible for assisting her all along the preparations and  ceremony . If your friend has chosen you to be her maid of honor it is a mark that she trusts you indefinitely and therefore it is your duty to extend help in every possible manner. If you are not sure about your role, we are here to help you out.
1.    Dress shopping- if the bride is confused about her wedding gown, she will look up to you to help her in selecting the perfect fit. Keep patience when you have to visit multiple stores and maintain a positive attitude throughout the process.
2.    Bridal shower- the responsibility for holding such events rests with other people but even in this case you should be ready to take on the event if required. You can always ask others for help, therefore there is nothing to worry about.
3.    Alleviate stress- wedding preparation is particularly stressful for bride. Keep asking her if she needs any help. Visit her and discuss things at regular intervals, so that she is not left alone in making arrangements.
4.    Remember schedule- on the wedding day people will keep questioning you about the proceedings. It is your responsibility to inform them about these things and if there is any delay then communicate the updated schedule.
5.    Stay close- stay within arm’s reach to the bride so that if she needs anything, you are always there to help. Make sure that the couple is properly fed during the event.
6.    Toast- prepare a short and beautiful speech for the toasts. It can be anything that is close to your heart about your friendship.
7.    At the end- help the bride in changing clothes and collect the essentials before leaving the venue.
