We all know that capturing wedding day memories is an important task. But now that you have found the most wonderful wedding photographer, how clearly you know that your wedding photos are awesome. Keep reading for tips to making the best of your time with the wedding photographer:

  • Have a pre-wedding photo shoot. Hire the wedding photographer before you have the engagement party. The wedding photographer will be extremely comfortable taking pictures, he does it all the time, but he also needs you to be at ease in front of the camera. It is important the you get along with the wedding the person that is going to be an intimate part of your wedding day.

  • Those wonderful photographs you see in bridal magazines are the result of hours of planning and rehearsal. While that is not possible at a real wedding the more time you spend with the wedding photographer and the more comfortable you are the greater the likelihood of them capturing some great moments.

  • Have fun, let loose, get a little crazy these may seem a bit incongruent when you consider the auspiciousness of the occasion but seriously once the vow sharing ceremony is done it is time to celebrate. We are not suggesting that you forgo the traditional poses but we want you to have those spontaneous moment memories as well.

  • Keep backgrounds as simple as possible. Often times the busy backgrounds distract from the bride and groom. A simple backdrop keeps the focus on you.

  • Don’t have unrealistic expectations. Often times brides underestimates the amount of time it will take to accomplish the different projects that they want. For instance wanting photographs at another location. unless you have planned it out so that there is no rush this one act could easily throw off your timeline.

  • Also it does not take a large photo shoot to get great results trust the wedding photographer to know enough to take the shots that will tell your story.
