On the day of your wedding you will probably be taking note of the tiniest of details. The scent of the boquet, the light shining through the windows, the excitement in your heart, the glistening in eyes that you love. Whether you realize it or not, those small nuances of that day will stay with you more than the largest and grandest gestures that seemed so important. When all is complete, this collection of details will paint a wonderful memory that you have to share with the one you chose to love.

An artist will come and paint during your ceremony, reception or both. You can choose what images you would like depicted, or how much involvement the artist will have with the festivities.
Wedding Brushes will work with you to make a painting that will simultaneously make memories and record them for years to come!

The Preliminaries

First, reserve your date! Most weddings are on a Saturday, so reserve your day as soon as you can. After reserving the date, the artist will contact you about the specifics of the event. You can request a color pallette or certain important people to be included in the painting. These questions and others are typically handled over the telephone or through email. If the location permits, we will conduct a preliminary scouting of the venue to elicit the best possible composition for the painting. Budgeting can be considered also at this time. Typical painting packages start at $350 USD. Additional services include Giclee reproductions, blank note cards, additional paintings, etc... We have options that can meet any need.
The Performance
3-6 hours

Set up for a ceremony or reception can start an hour before the guests arrive. The canvas can be blocked in with the environs first and the painting will take shape as the guests fill in. A still life of the bouquet has a similar start.
The Presentation

The painting will be finished and ready for display at the end of the event and may be presented then. Although frame-less, the painting will be gallery edged and suitable for immediate and beautiful display!
